I am a creator, strategist, and designer for social good.
Professional Summary
From the middle of nowhere to some exciting places.
I’m a proud multiracial woman who grew up in smalltown Iowa - and that’s definitely impacted how I work and the goals I work towards. So much of my work centers on making space for difficult conversations. If I had to narrow it down, my work falls into three passion areas: mental health and awareness, sex positivity and education, and gender and racial equity.
From attending high school in a literal cornfield, life has taken me on some interesting paths: I’ve drawn caricatures in Central Park, served as a graphic reporter at the UN Foundation's Social Good Summit, I designed a billboard in Times Square for the not-for-profit Statement Arts, I’ve taught courses on community-based design for social good and women’s health and well-being at an R1 institution, and I’m on the board for the not-for-profit Story Maven.

Getting to Know Me
On a more personal note.
I’m a maker who loves to design and frequently experiments with creative ways to express complex ideas clearly. I love Post-It notes, sharpies, storyboarding, and journey maps. Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, and Photoshop are my best friends.
I wonder why people do the things they do and am, in general, deeply curious. I get carried away in textbooks and often find myself down a rabbit hole of related online articles. I’m passionate about social impact, consulting, and making sure projects are managed well. I support social enterprises and not-for-profits in doing their work better.
I'm the proud owner of a beautiful one-eyed cat named Poutine and am fueled by espresso. If you can't find me, I'm probably in the front row of a concert, running around at a Comic Con, or planning my next trip to another country.
